Monthly Fungi and Flora Walk

While fungi season may be short, some fungi can be found all year round. That’s why Wild New Forest is hosting a monthly Fungi, Slimemould and Flora Mould Walk at Eyeworth.

Each month, we’ll explore the ancient woodlands, using macro features to identify and photograph as many fungi and slime moulds as we can find—without picking or disturbing them. Although the number of fungi may vary, it’s always a treat to discover what’s around.

The walk will proceed at a steady pace, giving everyone ample opportunity to observe and capture the fascinating world of fungi and slime moulds.
