​Supporting conservation through ecological survey and monitoring

Alongside our long-term research projects, Wild New Forest Guided Tours undertakes a wide range of ecological surveys and monitoring for conservation organisations, landowners and private clients across the New Forest and surrounding areas.

Our work includes baseline ecological surveys, farm wildlife assessments, species-specific surveys, moth trapping, habitat monitoring and bespoke ecological fieldwork, providing valuable information to support wildlife conservation and informed land management.

​

We also contribute to several nationally recognised monitoring schemes, including the British Trust for Ornithology's Breeding Bird Survey (BBS) and Wetland Bird Survey (WeBS), collecting long-term data that helps track changes in bird populations across the UK.
