Join us for a full-day birdwatching adventure as we travel from the New Forest to two of southern England’s premier wetland wildlife destinations. Travelling in the comfort of our WNFGT minibus, we'll enjoy a relaxed day of birding, wildlife watching, and spectacular wetland scenery.
Our main destination will be the world-renowned WWT Slimbridge (entrance fee applies), one of the UK's finest bird reserves. Here we'll spend the day exploring a variety of habitats including grazing marshes, lagoons, reedbeds, and estuarine wetlands. Depending on the season and recent sightings, we can expect to encounter an impressive range of waterfowl, waders, birds of prey, and wetland specialists, with opportunities to see species such as Bewick's Swan, White-fronted Goose, Avocet, Common Crane, Kingfisher, Marsh Harrier, and much more.
