Join Wild New Forest Guided Tours for an unforgettable three-day wildlife adventure exploring the spectacular Somerset Levels. Travelling in the comfort of our small-group minibus, we'll discover some of the region's finest wetland nature reserves and experience one of Britain's most impressive wildlife spectacles.
The Somerset Levels are renowned for their vast wetlands, reedbeds, flooded meadows and open water, supporting an exceptional variety of birds and other wildlife throughout the winter. During our three days together, we'll explore a carefully selected range of these habitats, with each location offering different wildlife and plenty of opportunities for memorable encounters.
A major highlight of the trip will be experiencing the famous Somerset Starling roost. At dusk, we'll watch as huge numbers of Starlings gather over the wetlands, often forming spectacular murmurations before descending into the reedbeds to roost.
