Join us for a relaxed and informative course designed to build your confidence in identifying wildfowl—both through guided learning at home and hands-on experience in the field.

We’ll start with a course presentation emailed directly to you, introducing the key identification features of the wildfowl species commonly found in Hampshire. This gives you the chance to explore the basics at your own pace before we head outdoors.

You’ll then take part in a three-hour guided field session at Normandy Marsh, one of the best local sites for observing wildfowl up close. With expert tuition, you’ll put your newly learnt skills into practice and discover how to distinguish similar-looking species in real-world conditions.
